Synopsis

This paper investigates the psychological impact of identity and resilience on the distress experienced by olderadults with cancer. To do this, we synthesized the literature surrounding this topic from the past two years(2022-2024). Findings indicate that mental health interventions such as Self-System Therapy (SST) can improvedistress and address support needs for older adults with cancer.
